Our Story

In 1991, Hope began with 4 people gathering for her first meeting in a small apartment in Singapore.

Along the years, more like-minded individuals joined this group. With a shared vision to fulfil the Great Commission, we set out to love neighbours, make disciples, and plant churches in Singapore and all over the world.

Since then, thousands around the world have joined this spiritual family and caught the vision.

We aim to be a community that is Christ-centred, Holy Spirit empowered, and Bible-based. We are committed to God and to one another. We are ordinary people living extraordinary lives with Jesus Christ.

Some quick facts about us

1.  We have planted around 500 groups in 29 countries, and more than 750 groups in Singapore. See our missions page for more locations.

2.  We are a member of the Evangelical Fellowship of Singapore, and the National Council of Churches of Singapore.

3.  We are part of the Registrar of Charities and the Registrar of Societies (ROS 263/1991 REL; UEN: S93SS0023L).

Our Vision is to Fulfill the Great Commission

Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.   Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,    and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” – Matthew 28:18-20

The Church is Christ’s representative in the world. As part of the Church, we proclaim and live out the Gospel across the world by committing to these 3 things:

Love Neighbours

To love, serve and reach people around us with the love of Christ

Make Disciples

To know and follow Jesus, and to teach and spur others to do likewise

Plant Churches

To start churches that proclaim and live out the Gospel in Singapore and all over the world
