Genesis 1-11: The Need for the Gospel

We are all born into a world that is clearly broken and yet also full of relics of God’s original goodness. The former dominates our experiences of life, often shaping the very way we view it; the latter hints of a better world prior to ours, giving us hope that we may one day return to it.

Genesis 1-11 describes the common heritage we all share before being dispersed into different civilisations. But beneath the historical records lies its purpose to explain the events in our past that led to “the Need for the Gospel”.

Book Study on Revelations

The book of Revelation is about the End Times and is filled with majestic visions, mysterious symbols and stirring messages of rebuke and encouragement. Its richness is fascinating yet puzzling. Who are the elders surrounding the throne? What is the significance of the seals, trumpets and bowls? Who are the two witnesses? But more intriguing and important than these questions are the implications for believers today. How does knowing what God is going to do in the future affect how we live now? What does the End Times have to do with how we conduct our discipleship in the present? Join us to demystify the book of Revelation and derive relevant and meaningful implications for our faith today.

Theology of God

Theology comes from two Greek words, theòs (God) and logia (study of). Therefore, theology is the study of God which is also known as Theology Proper. The study of God is at the very foundation of Christian theology. It provides key features of what the Bible teaches about God, His existence, attributes of goodness, and works in the world. It also examines the Triune God as three distinct Persons – the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
In this class, we explore these issues by examining the Word of God. The aim is to find out who God is, His divine attributes and addressing some of the controversies surrounding the theology of God.
